Allison Rosenberg, MAC, Associate* MFT (CA Registration # AFMT 92144)
Allison specializes in working with couples, families and individuals to create healing and connection. She has worked with a variety of populations experiencing various life stressors including relationship and family challenges, personal growth issues, trauma, eating disorders and addiction, depression and anxiety. Allison focuses her work with clients on creating a safe place for clients to work to heal wounds and create a more enriching and fulfilling life. Allison has completed advanced training as an Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT helps couples and families to explore negative cycles that they get stuck in and the underlying hurt and disconnection that occurs. This allows couples and families to create a new dynamic where they experience more connection, vulnerability, and safety. In addition, Allison has extensively studied and been trained in how to help clients heal from trauma and utilizes the principles of providing trauma sensitive care to help her clients get to the core of their struggles in a safe environment. Allison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Masters of Arts in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Ottawa University.
*Associates are pre-licensed therapists who have achieved masters degrees in psychology or counseling and are gathering hours required to obtain the 3000 supervised hours needed to be eligible to take part in a rigorous exam process and become licensed as Marriage & Family Therapists by the state of California through the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Kelly Lowry, MS, Licensed MFT (CA Lic. #MFT 33398)
Kelly, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) and Certified School Counselor (PPS) who has worked for over 25 years in both clinical and school settings with children, teens, adults, and parents. She has certification in parent education and anger management, and has raised two daughters who are now both in college. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
Kelly specializes in helping clients lead healthy lives and negotiate major life transitions and developmental phases. Kelly highly values the power of healthy relationships to heal and repair wounds from the past. She introjects connection, humor and camaraderie to encourage clients to define their personal challenges, ask themselves important questions, and to find answers that resonate deeply. Through this process, clients learn to put attention on what is most important to them, know themselves more fully and cultivate more positive, healing relationships. Her clients share they have achieved greater self acceptance and learned to discover and trust their intuitive skills during their time in treatment with Kelly. With these insights and abilities in place, clients grow to feel more resilient, grounded and balanced when confronted with the inevitable challenges of this increasingly complex world we live in. They are better equipped to move more easily and joyfully into the next phase of life.
